And just like that, we are surrounded and Texas is falling behind on allowing individuals to choose what is best for them and losing billions of dollars. As someone that worked the last legislative session trying to expand medical marijuana, it is incredibly frustrating when the politics get's in the way of trying to help and heal people that can truly benefit from the plant. As a medical professional for nearly 30 years, I can attest that addiction to pharmaceutical drugs is far worse and causes more problems and deaths. Where as marijuana naturally helps with so many diseases and medical issues naturally and without addictive tendencies.
